In Kerala and Tamilnadu - Sensitizing other groups

We also conduct seminars/rights advocacy programmes among the medical fraternity, i.e., doctors, nurses and counsellors. Recently, Social Wlefare Association for Men, an organisation working for men’s health conducted a program in Kanchipuram. Sahodari was invited to represent the transgender community. We sensitized the medical fraternity in Kanchipuram on transgender people’s health problems and how to approach them in a humane way. In future, Sahodari will conduct seminars among artists, writers, film makers, teachers and diverse youth groups.
