The Sahodari Foundation’s workshops  for the transgender community are popular for several reasons:

Empowerment through Art: These workshops provide a platform for transgender individuals to express themselves creatively. The foundation supports artists by providing all necessary art supplies and materials

Skill Development: Participants learn various art techniques, which not only help them express their identities but also develop new skills that can support their livelihoods.

Community Building: The workshops foster a sense of community among transgender individuals, offering a safe space where they can share their experiences and support each other.

Visibility and Advocacy: By showcasing the artwork in exhibitions, the foundation raises awareness about transgender issues and challenges stereotypes. This visibility helps in advocating for transgender rights and social inclusion.

Personal Growth: Many participants find these workshops transformative, as they gain confidence and a sense of purpose through their artistic endeavors.

This October, we are gearing up to offer a one day refreshing empowerment workshop for the LGBTQI+ community persons. Read the above brochure to understand what we offer. This workshop is completely free for LGBTQI+ members. We wanted to share why this workshop organized stands out for several reasons:

Diverse Activities: The workshop includes a variety of sessions such as ice breakers, painting for self-expression, inspiring speeches, and group discussions. This variety ensures that participants are engaged and can explore different forms of expression.

Empowerment Focus: The emphasis on LGBTQI empowerment voices creates a supportive environment where participants feel valued and heard.

Certification: The inclusion of a certification ceremony adds a sense of accomplishment and recognition for the participants, which can be very motivating.

Community Building: The structured program fosters a sense of community and belonging among participants, helping them build connections and support networks.

Aesthetic Appeal: The flyer’s design, with its floral patterns and soft colors, is visually appealing and inviting, which can enhance the overall experience.
